Executive Director Megan McCarthy shares, "Since 2009, the Manistee County Child Advocacy Center has provided a child-centered environment for children and their families who have experienced sexual abuse. Through the work of the Manistee CAC, a team of child abuse professionals – including social workers, law enforcement, child protective services, prosecutors, medical examiners, and mental health professionals - are brought together to provide a coordinated response that best meets the needs of the child and the family.”

Founder Amad Elzayat shares, "At The Amity Foundation, we promote the idea that everyone, regardless of race, color or creed, deserves a chance to have the basic necessities of life. We work to cultivate a whole community approach through the encouragement of helping one another in coordination of an absolute volunteer program."
The mission of the Amity Foundation is to develop the leadership of youth and young adults by engaging them in community service and empowering them to create change in their communities.
