If at first you don’t succeed.

I tried to tell them…

That didn’t work.

I tried to demonstrate for them…

That didn’t work either.

I tried to inspire them with what could be…

That fell short.

I tried to force it upon them.

That was a bad idea…

I hid around the corner and tried to scare my energy into them.

That worked - but only for a minute.

I whispered, ever so faintly, and asked if I could just sit with them.

They seemed to appreciate that.

I offered more time to them, so they could work to understand me.

Some appeared excited by that option, others- not so much…

For those who were excited by this last effort, our time together increased and something magical happened.

They embraced me, which is all I ever wanted.

From that first embrace, we stayed close – I stopped telling, demonstrating, pressing to inspire, attempting to prove myself to them, and I most definitely gave up on scaring them – that was a terrible choice.

Instead- I sat with them. I whispered to them. I allowed them to see me and hear me. It was then that they embraced me.

And when they did…their lives became more peaceful and vibrant.

Who am I, you ask?

I’m Change.

God bless all of you- and may He send peace and learnings to you during your times on this planet.

Much love- Trav
