We all have a choice; don’t forget that.

My choice is to stay with you – close to you.

This declaration isn’t hyperbole from some high and mighty energy, one side of a two-sided coin where one side has it ‘all figured out’ and the opposite side is convinced they haven’t a clue.

This declaration of ‘I won’t leave you’ is rooted in the beauty that comes into my life.

I won’t leave you because of the growth I’ve experienced with you.

I won’t leave you because of the hole it would leave in the universe. How does one side of a coin ever truly leave the other?

I won’t leave you because I love you.

I love you for the tenacity and tolerance you bring to life.

I love you for the deep care you provide.

I love you for the way you look, the way you smell, the smile that’s inside of you, the intelligence you carry, the comfort you bring to chaos, and the perspectives you bring.

I choose not to leave you because I don’t want to leave the side of someone I love, someone I learn from, and someone who ignites this type of reflection in my soul.

I choose not to leave, and I hope any doubt planted, by me, in your soul, will be ripped out by the roots never to grow again. Trust in me.

We always have a choice, don’t we?

If we did leave - we did make that choice - everything would be different. Complicated for a bit and things would work out. Afterall, we are incredible as standalone ingredients in this mosaic of experiences.

So - what do you choose?

We have an opportunity to do something incredible on this planet. Let’s stay close and let’s stay together – our two-sided coin is awfully powerful.
